Mission

Coos Animal Sanctuary (CAS) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, we are an increasing group of concerned people who have become aware of the number of animals in Coos County who may be without proper food or vet care for one reason or another. It became our mission to make spaying and neutering available to those in need. We assist with lost, found, or abandoned animals, and provide education, food, shelter, and help with vet care to those in need. We also work with local and state law enforcement to follow all laws in regard to animal welfare. We refer concerned citizens to the proper agencies when reporting animal abuse or neglect.

GET INVOLVED

The coos animal sanctuary rescues, helps find the lost, helps the lost find their home, and advocates for the homeless, sick and neglected and abused animals. We are dedicated to providing every animal in need free or low-cost spay or neutering, pet food to low income households or those experiencing hardship, education to those who wish to learn of animal care and responsibilities. We offer, with a cap, help to those who need help with emergency vet care. As a non-profit organization (501-c3) serving Coos County in northern NH, we receive no federal or state funding and rely solely on generous community support. Giving to Coos Animal Sanctuary is an investment in your community because your donation provides help, better health, and food to local animals in need.
